Trustee forum

Thousands of forward thinking individuals volunteer as trustees every year. Whilst the role can be challenging it is also hugely rewarding and those who do volunteer are rightly proud of the contribution they make to society. This vast pool of knowledge and expertise is a valuable resource and for this reason WCVA has created its Trustee Forum.

If you want to know something or have encountered a problem, it’s almost certain that a fellow trustee has had a similar experience and can offer the requisite knowledge to help you and your organisation. Trustees can access help, support and advice by sharing knowledge and experience with each other, including the ability to:

  • Ask questions and share experiences
  • Learn about the latest legal, policy and managerial developments
  • Share resources or form alliances to strengthen the voice of your organisation
  • Alert fellow trustees to useful guidance and resources
  • Enter into realtime discussion on key issue
  • Build your own confidence as a trustee.

Its simple to register - subject to the usual terms and conditions – and could be the gateway to a wealth of support and information.
